1 Square Composite Door
One slim vertical light, set high and centred, in an otherwise solid leaf. This is the shape to choose when you want the door to be a door rather than a window: it gives you a glance out and almost nothing in.
Pick this for a front door that opens straight onto a pavement, or where security matters more than light.
One slim light set high is the most private door on this page while still letting you see who is outside. For a flat entrance, a side return or a house opening onto a busy pavement, that combination is hard to beat.
It is also the toughest shape here. A small light in a large solid leaf means more insulated core and less glass, which helps both the thermal performance and the feeling of solidity when it shuts.
