2 Panel 2 Arch Composite Door
A pair of tall arched lights sit above two solid panels, running higher up the leaf than the square version. It is the same idea with more glass and a softer line, which reads as slightly grander from the street.
Pick this over the 2 Panel 2 Square when the hall is dark and you want the extra height of glass.
Two arches running high up the leaf give this door more glass than almost any other panelled shape here, and that shows in a dark hallway. It is the one to specify when the only natural light in the hall comes through the front door.
The trade-off is privacy. Tall lights mean somebody standing at the door can see further into the house than with the square shapes, so think about obscure glass or where the stairs sit relative to the door.
