Crittall-Style Aluminium Doors

The grid of slim glazing bars that defines the Crittall look, in modern thermally broken aluminium rather than the single-glazed steel of the originals. You get the appearance without the cold frames and the condensation that came with it.

Pick this for a period conversion, a warehouse-style interior, or anywhere the frame is meant to be seen.

The grid is the product. Original Crittall screens were single-glazed steel, which meant cold frames, condensation running onto the floor and rust where it pooled. This is thermally broken aluminium doing the same thing without any of that.

Bar spacing is worth deciding carefully: more bars reads more authentically industrial, fewer bars gives you more glass and a cleaner view. It is the one decision on this door that changes its character completely.
